Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Nail Polish

Hey guys, One of my favorite nail polishes to wear are the Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Nail Polishes, They claim to last 10 days, however with the job I do I'm lucky to get a couple of days without chipping, no matter what the brand, they don't stand a chance. But despite this, I love these polishes, I actually only own 5 different colours, and this one is one of my favorites.

The colour is in Mulberry Bush and is a gorgeous rosey metallic pink? (Ahh, Im terrible with descriptions, please bare with me, I will improve I promise! )

 

One of the thing I love most about this range of polishes is the wide brush, It makes for super quick and easy application which for lazy people like myself is a huge bonus!

Attempting A Smokey Eye..

Hey guys, So I dont know if you can tell or not, but I am not a professional when it comes to make-up, but never the less, its fun, and exciting to try out new colours so here is a burgundy smokey eye that I created.. Hope you enjoy!

So there you have it. I just wanted to quickly talk about the foundation brush I used for this look, I dont normally use a brush but today I decided to try the one that came in the 48piece brush set, and I have to admit, I am seriously dissapointed! This brush sheds like you wouldnt believe! It also didnt work very well, I had to go back in with my fingers to fully blend my foundation.

Also the colour I chose to use on my lid wasnt very pigmented, and I had to really work with it to build up the colour. Although I am very happy with the end result so I dont really mind putting in the extra effort.

Mini 'Light In The Box' Haul And Review

Hey guys, As I mentioned in my previous post, I recently placed an order with Lightinthebox.com, so I thought I would share with you a quick run down of what I purchased.

The first item I picked up was this 48 piece make-up brush set, which can be found here. I have to say I am really impressed with the quality, and the colour is amazing. I also really like the fact that this set comes with a brush roll, as it makes for easy storage, and less clutter. 

Sorry the photos are not very clear, I had a hard time photographing something so large!

The next thing I chose was a 120 piece eye shadow pallet, this pallet in unbranded but I would guess that it is a good dupe for the Coastal scents 120 pallet. Again I am really impressed by the quality, the pigmentation is lovely and the colours are wonderful.

The final thing I picked up was this blush pallet, it contains 10 lovely, wearable colours, which are good for both day time, and night time.

I have to say that, at first I was super skeptical about ordering from the site, mainly because of the low prices, I found myself thinking "well, the products can't be that good, can they?" However, I was very impressed by the products I ordered and will definitely order again. My only fault with the company was this shipping time, although I ordered using 3-5 working day delivery, my order took close to 20 days before I received it, this was extremely disappointing but because I was impressed with the products I will let this slide, and will still order from them again, but at least the next time I will know what to expect.
