Red Hot Nails

Hey everyone! For this post I thought i'd share with you my latest manicure using the Collection Lasting Gel Colour Polish in Red Hot.

I've already mentioned my love for these polishes, so I'll spare you the details, but this is the first real red I've ever owned, and its gorgeous and glossy. I would seriously recommend this and the other colours.

Have you tried these polishes? What did you think if you have?

Thanks for reading! Talk soon.

My Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Collection

I posted a Nail of the Day using a colour from my collection of Lasting Colour Polishes and mentioned I would do a collection, and since I picked up a new colour I thought now would be the perfect time to share that with you.
I own 6 colours from the range, 4 are the normal formulation and 2 are from the Gel range.

Chiffon Haze

Mulberry Bush

Purple Rain

Green With Envy

Think Pink

Red Hot
I honestly love these polishes, I've mentioned before that these are my favourites, I am some what of a lazy painter when it comes to my nails, and the wide brush makes for super easy painting. With my job the polishes don't last the full 10 days they promise but, that being said, no polishes lasts with my job. Overall, these are my favourites, you can pick them up from drug stores like Boots, and Superdrug, or from larger Tesco stores, and are available from under £4 which is a complete steal!
I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if you want me to do more like this! Talk Soon!

Blue Smokey Eye

Continuing my ELF Cosmetics theme, I thought I would share with you a couple of make up looks I created using the products from my recent haul.

To create this look I used the Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Like A Boss as a base and used two colours from the Baked eyeshadow pallet.

The red circles indicate the colours used
I finished the look with two coats of Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara, after curling my lashes, and used Rimmel Appocalips in Nova.

I hope you guys liked this look, If you prefer I can try a step by step tutorial next time, Instead of an overview? Let me know in the comments.

ELF Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils

Just a quick disclaimer, the next few posts will probably all be ELF Cosmetic based, I have been loving everything from recent haul so I wanted to post a few reviews and make looks I created using the products, I hope you don't mind!

So for today's post I wanted to talk about the Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils, They come in 10 shades and are a very affordable £2.50! I picked up 4 of the pencils, and am really impressed with all of them.

The shades I picked up are mainly neutral, except for 1 which is slightly more bold.

Like A Boss

Turkish Coffee

French Lace

Forest Nymph
For the price, these are incredible. The four colours I have are beautifully pigmented, with the exception of French lace, which is slightly paler than I would like but it is still lovely.

As you can see, these colours are lovely and wearable, they blend out super easily and are incredibly creamy.

Overall, I love these and would love to own all of them, my only wish is that there was a matte white, and a matte black, they do have a black, but its shimmery and I would prefer a matte one, but I'll probably will get a couple more the next time they have a great offer.

Have you guys tried these? If so what did you think?

Thats all for now guys, I'm sorry this post is a bit short, I've been really ill over the past couple days, but I really wanted to get a post out for you today.

Thanks for reading, talk to you soon!

ELF Lip Exfoliator Review

As shown in my previous post, one of the products I picked up from ELF was their lip exfoliator, it was the one of the products I was most excited to try, and there were a couple different reasons why.

First of all it comes in a sleek black lipstick tube, which is perfect for your handbag or make up bag, also its clearly labeled so no confusion when you whip this out!

The product itself is similar in shape to a lipstick which makes this very easy to use both with, and without a mirror. The product is very gritty and moisturising, but it is scented, I think it's the Shea butter but I can't be sure, it is both pleasant and unpleasant depending on what you like, personally I'm not too keen but it isn't too over powering so I can live with it.

My lips before

My lips after (with balm)
The product after
As you can see from the photos this scrub does a great job, the last photo shows just how gritty the scrub is, which I really like, its gritty with out being painful, its also not as messy as say the lush sugar scrubs.

The balm I used was one I also picked up from ELF and is their conditioning lip balm in a jar.

The colour I chose was 'Nice And Natural' and is a lovely 'your lips but better' colour, or atleast it is for me.
The formula for these is lovely, really creamy with a nice subtle hint of colout, these are very moisturising without being overly sticky.

Overall, I love both of these products and I'm so glad I picked them up when I did, they are perfect for the winter months, and are both a great price.

Hope you enjoyed, talk to you soon!
