Loreal Skin Perfection Wash - Review

Today I wanted to review a cleanser that I have been using for quite a while now, a cleanser that I absolutely love. That cleanser is the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Soothing Gel-Cream Wash. This wash is amazing, it cleanses the skin wonderfully and removes make-up like a dream, the best thing about this cleanser is that it is gentle enough to use on the eyes, and I mean really gentle, I literally rub this over my eye lids and it doesn't sting or burn which helps with make-up removal.
I use this cleanser twice a day, and have noticed a big difference in my skins condition, it is brighter and softer than it was before using this cleanser, now I cannot put this change down to just this cleanser but it is wonderful, my only complaint is that the opening of the bottle is teeny tiny and makes it quite difficult to get a good amount of product out, but it might just be my bottle and its something I can live with.
Overall I think it is fantastic and for a drugstore brand cleanser it works better than I expected it to, it currently retails for £2.99 at Boots and I would definitely recommend trying this if you are in the market for a new cleanser.
I hope you enjoyed reading this, let me know if you try out this cleanser, I'd love to know what you guys think. That's all for today guys and I'll talk to you soon..

Nailed It - butterLONDON Fiver with Polka Dots

Hey everyone, as I mentioned in my last haul post, I recently picked up a muted mint green nail polish from butter LONDON and today I tried it out for the first time,  but when I was painting my nails I decided I wanted something a little bit different to just plain green nails, so I decided to add an accent nail on both hands, and thought it would be fun to do some lilac polka dots. As I have mentioned many times before, nail polish never ever lasts as long as is should so I didn't want to do anything too complex because my efforts would be wasted.. So here is the look I created..

Personally I think this is super cute, and super easy to do, I used a sewing pin to create the dots, and the whole thing took no time at all. I usually do my accent nails on my thumbs so that when I'm texting or playing on my phone, the design is more visable but this time I went for my ring finger instead, but this kind of nail art would look good on any finger, or your whole hand..

Well thats it for todays post. I hope you enjoy this, let me know your favorite nail combination! Talk to you soon..

Three Candles, Two Nail Polishes And A Perfume

Whats this? Another haul? You act so surprised!
So, yes, last week I went shopping, and only picked up a couple things, but thought you guys might like to see what I bought. I only went shopping with the intention of buying the perfume, but obviously I made a sneaky trip into a couple other shops.. Oops.. I'll start with the perfume since that was the reason for this trip.

How gorgeous is this bottle?!
This perfume is one of my all time favorites, when I was like 15/16ish I used to walk into Boots, spray tonnes of this all over myself and then leave.. a bit naughty of me, but I freakin' love how this smells, and although it is a little on the sweet side, its still quite grown up.. I was sprayed this yesterday just before starting my shift and one of my friends stood next to me and was like 'woah.. someone smells amazing' which I love getting that compliment.. I mean who doesn't, it's much better than being told 'you stink'.. but I digress.. The perfume is Jean Paul's Madame and is describe online as 'A fresh, sweet, floral fragrance. A twist of orange and fresh rose illuminated with a flash of grenadine.' Honestly I think it smells quite orangey but other people disagree, it is very strong, sweet and quite long lasting which I personally like because I prefer strong perfumes, my other favorite is very strong aswell.. I picked this up on sale for just £25 for 50ml which is a bargin, and was great for me since I was running low on my other perfume.

Next I popped into TKMAXX which is a shop I could walk around for ages, and this first product is something I had looked at, smelled, put down, walked away from and then regretted not buying for months but when I was buying the other two products this one was right by the check out and some how found its way into my basket..

This is the Copenhagen Candle in the Baby Powder scent, and Ohhh My God I love this scent and am going to put it in my bathroom, it is so nice, and I love it soo much. I honestly would stand in the candle aisle  (which the one in my city scent has a HUGE candle selection) and just smell this candle and then put it down.. The Copenhagen Candles come is a variety of sizes from the one I bought at £3.99 to a huge one at either £7.99 or £11.99 I'm not sure of the price of the big one, and depending on how good the scent pay off is when burning I may go back and buy the big one.. but we shall see!

The next two things were chance buys, which I know a lot of TKMAXX purchases are, but I didn't even realise my local store even stocked this brand and they are butter LONDON nail polishes. I mentioned in a previous Boots haul that I had found some on sale there for just £3, and at TKMAXX they were slightly more expensive at £4.99 but when you consider that they normally retail for £14, a fiver is a complete steal! So I picked up two colours and when I looked in my collection, I actually don't have colours like these and I will post a Nailed It post later on featuring one of these polishes.

The colours are Fiver, a muted mint green, and Toff a colour I don't really know how to describe but the butter LONDON website describes it as 'A darker, dustier, brownish variation on a rose pink nail lacquer' and both are gorgeous shades and I cannot wait to try them out.

Lastly I popped into Primark and picked up another two candles, these two however are for my 'getting ready' room and they are the votive candles in Vanilla.

These were just £1 each so again, a complete steal! They smell great and look adorable on my vanity table and for £1 you can't really ask for much more.

Well that about sums up this haul.. I went on a bit of a ramble so if you made it this far then congratulations! Thanks for reading guys! Have a great week and I'll talk to all of you soon.

MUA Out There Lipgloss - Review

Hey everyone, Happy Thursday!

Last week I posted a haul for you and thought I should update you all on how I'm getting along with the products I picked up. The first products I want to tell you about are the lipglosses I picked up from MUA cosmetics. I had looked at these lipglosses for ages before finally putting them in my basket, the thing that drew my attention to these lipglosses was A) The price, at just £2 and B) The size, the tube is super long suggesting you get a lot of product.
I picked up two of these lipglosses to try out, and I have to admit, I am kind of on the fence about these, I mean, for the price they aren't bad but they aren't exactly good either, if that makes sense.. The first thing I will say is that these lipglosses are marketed as plumping, and I didn't feel anything to suggest that these had a plumping effect in them, nor did I see any results of this, however the colours are lovely and I think that makes up a huge portion of the 'good' in these lipglosses.

The first colour I tried was Pin Up Pink, and as a swatch on the back of my hand it was a lot deeper, where as on the lips it comes across as more of a 'your lips, but a little bit darker' which actually I quite like, however the application was a bit sparse and took a while to build up into something wearable, this is the same with the next shade..

Which is Shocking Pink, this shade is much brighter and has much better colour pay off, still takes a little bit to build up to this colour intensity but overall is a great bright barbie pink colour.
I think a lot of the problem lies in the applicator, it doesn't pick up a lot of product and it isn't really very good at 'spreading' the product across the lips, I think with a lip brush you would get a lot better results from these glosses, but over all for just £2 they are pretty good, and I can see myself picking up the other colours in the range..

All MUA products are available at Superdrug, and online at MUA and prices range from £1 to £8.

Thanks for reading guys! Talk to you soon xx

Product Rave - Collection Deluxe Lipstick

Hey everyone, today I wanted to talk about a product which I am absolutely loving! I bought this product a little while ago and mentioned it in a haul and actually popped it one side and kinda just forgot about it, but yesterday when I was doing my make up I pulled this out and fell in love with it.

The product I am referring to is a lipstick from the Collection Deluxe Range, the colour is Prohibition and it is wonderful. The lipstick is a gorgeous creamy formula and the pigmentation is unbelievable. When I bought this lipstick it cost me just £2.99 so I'm pretty impressed by the quality.

On the lips the colour is glossy and super pigmented and yet easy wear, and comfortable, I know some lipsticks are so drying that they cause so much discomfort but this one is actually not like that at all.
Anyway, I think that about wraps up this post, I hope you enjoyed reading this and I hope it helps. Let me know what your favourite red lipstick and why?

Talk to you soon guys, byee xx
